Jason Wang is an agent for change, teaching the skills he has learned to others who might need a second chance. Growing up as an only child of two immigrant parents living through poverty and abuse, he knows all too well the challenges of overcoming obstacles to transform generational legacies of poverty, crime, and violence.

From his own experience in prison, Jason went through the Defy Ventures program himself and went from being an EIT (entrepreneur-in-training) to now funding his own company and getting his MBA. Today he teaches entrepreneurship, employment, and leadership training program to numerous other EITs looking to break from their past and become entrepreneurs.
