Lauren Covello Jacobs is a freelance writer, editor and media consultant. She was previously a senior editor at Fortune, where she led coverage of entrepreneurs and small business. Prior to that, she was managing editor of Entrepreneur and a reporter at Fox Business. Lauren began her career at Saks Fifth Avenue as an assistant buyer. She was named one of Folio's Top Women in Media in 2015.
