Porter Braswell is the CEO and cofounder of Jopwell. Prior to founding Jopwell, Porter covered hedge funds and asset managers on the foreign exchange sales desk at Goldman Sachs, on the same trading floor as cofounder Ryan Williams. Porter and Ryan launched Jopwell in 2015 and have developed it into an essential resource that transcends its online platform and facilitates thousands of connections between its community and partner employers. In 2017, Fast Company listed Jopwell as one of its “Most Innovative Companies” and named Porter to its list of “100 Most Creative People in Business.” Jopwell was also named one of Entrepreneur’s “100 Most Brilliant Companies” in 2017, and most recently, Porter was included in Crain’s New York Business Class of 2018 “40 Under 40.” In January 2019, Penguin Random House will publish Porter's upcoming book titled Let Them See You - the guide for leveraging your diversity at work. Porter graduated from Yale University in 2011, where he was a four-year member of the men's varsity basketball team.
