Rebecca Harris is the CEO and Co-founder of Purple, an SMS-based audience engagement platform. She was born and raised in Houston, TX, developed her inner-political nerd as a poli-sci student at the University of Connecticut, and grew out her entrepreneurial roots at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism where she received a masters in entrepreneurial journalism.
